The Seiko Astron GPS Solar is the pinnacle of modern Japanese watch technology. Only the name and the case shape of this watch collection still remind us of the past; The very first Seiko quartz watch from 1969. Today's Astron has a classic design with curved lines that hides state-of-the-art technology. The 5X53 solar timepiece contacts four or more GPS satellites which automatically identify the time zone where the wearer is located and set the watch to the correct local time. This makes this Astron GPS watch extremely accurate and only has a deviation of 1 second per 100,000 years. Furthermore, the watch includes a perpetual calendar until February 28, 2100, world time (39 time zones), dual-time function and airplane mode. The housing is also of the highest quality; The stainless steel of the case and strap have a scratch-resistant coating and the special double-convex sapphire glass has an anti-reflective super-clear coating, making it almost as if there is no glass between the viewer and the dial. When fully charged by exposure to light, the watch will work for up to 6 months with daily use and even up to 2 years in power save mode.
